Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Kang Jung-ho drove in three runs for his first Major League Baseball RBIs.
Against the Chicago Cubs, Kang launched a two-out, bases-loaded double to deep right center in the bottom of the seventh inning to break a 5-5 deadlock.
Despite the effort, the Pirates went on to lose 9-8 after the Cubs rallied with a three-run inning in the ninth.
Kang went 2-for-4 at the plate, marking his first multi-hit game of the season. ■
