This year's third super moon is expected to be accompanied by meteor showers to light up tonight's skies.
A Quadrantids shower will surround the supermoon along with the Perseids and Geminids meteor showers, mostly visible at midnight tonight, and into tomorrow early morning.
The Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute however, said the meteor showers may not be as fully visible due to the brightness of the full moon.■
