President Moon Jae-in's approval rating has dropped for the third straight week.
A Gallup Korea survey conducted from Wednesday to Thursday showed his approval rating at 55 percent, down 3 percentage points on-week.
Nearly 60 percent of those with negative views of his performance cited economic problems as their reason.
His handling of relations with North Korea and diplomacy were cited as positive points.
The ruling Democratic Party also suffered a slight setback this week, with its own approval rating slipping 1 percentage point to 42 percent.
The phone survey was conducted on over 1,000 adults across the country and had a confidence level of 95 percent with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.■
