National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun met with floor leaders from major parties to discuss ways to normalize state affairs after Park Geun-hye's ouster.
Chung and floor leaders of the Democratic, Liberty Party of Korea, People's and Barun parties met at the speaker's office this morning, and discussed parliament's roles to achieve national unity and stabilize state affairs.
The five were also expected to exchange their views on other issues, such as parliament's March extraordinary session and a constitutional amendment.■
