G7 leaders meet in France last August
World leaders part of the Group of Seven economic organization are set to discuss measures to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told his parliament on Monday that the meeting will will be held via video conference starting at 11 p.m.
The talks were proposed by French President Emmanuel Macron.
It will also include the leaders of the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and Canada.■
