Samsung Electronics maintained its lead in Europe's flat TV market in the first half of this year, according to industry data.
The tech giant accounted for 38 percent of Europe's flat TV's market in the January to June period, market researcher GfK revealed.
LG Electronics came in second with a 16.6 percent share, with Phillips coming in third with a 9.9 percent share, data showed.
Samsung also accounted for 39.6 percent of Europe's liquid crystal display TV market, 44.1 percent of the smart TV market, and 44.3 percent of Europe's 3D TV market.■
