Marvel Studios' "Ant-Man and the Wasp" dominated the South Korean box office, drawing nearly two million moviegoers in its first weekend and generating 17.3 billion won in revenue from Friday to Sunday.
Korean Film Council data showed the local supernatural thriller "The Witch: Part 1" fell to second, drawing in over 450,000 viewers.
Meanwhile, the local crime comedy "Accidental Detective 2" crossed three million in attendance, drawing in about another 94,000 moviegoers in its fourth week at the box office.■
