U.S. President Barack Obama and Donald Trump have held their first talks at the White House, formally starting the hand over to the new Republican administration.
Obama said the discussions included both domestic and foreign policies.
He said he wanted Trump and his wife, Melania, to feel welcomed and want them to succeed.
Trump said talks lasted 90 minutes but could have gone longer, and called Obama a "very good man" whom he respects.
