The annual gadget extravaganza formerly known as the Consumer Electronics Show is set to kick off Wednesday in Las Vegas.
This year, the CES is expected to be heavy on smart, connected devices as big projections mount for the Internet of Things, which could result in created value worth 11 trillion dollars annualy by 2025, according to consulting giant McKinsey.
Some 170,000 attendees are expected to attend the show, while there will also be a boost in startup presence with 500 companies to take part.■
