President Park Geun-hye has visited a hospital in Seoul to offer condolences to the bereaved family members over the death of former President Kim Young-sam(김영삼).
Park went to Seoul National University Hospital about seven hours after she returned from an overseas trip early this morning.
She was informed of Kim's death Sunday, when she was in Malaysia for a regional summit, and said she "prays for the soul of the deceased".
Park is also expected to attend a state funeral for Kim on Thursday.■
