A subway train derailment during the morning rush hour in the Russian capital has killed at least 21 people,
Officials say some 160 people were injured with at least 42 in critical condition.
It's still unclear what caused the crowded cars to derail between two stations yesterday.
Russia's top investigative body says a mechanical fault with the train or the sinking of the roadbed may be at fault.
However, President Vladimir Putin, who is in Brazil, has ordered authorities to launch a criminal probe.■
