In baseball, SK Wyverns said they've acquired Yeom Kyung-yup(염경엽), the former manager of a rival club, the Nexen Heros, as their new general manager.
The KBO confirmed the recent announcement, without disclosing further details of his deal.
The 48-year-old manager was a fringe player in the 1990s, before joining the Heros as their base running coach in 2012 after retirement, and taking over as their manager for the 2013 season.■
