The KT Wiz, the country’s newest baseball club, have signed right-hander Chris Oxspring.
Oxspring joins his third KBO club, first pitching for the LG Twins from 2007-2008 and then with the Lotte Giants, for whom he'd pitched the past two seasons.
The Giants made him a free agent after the 2014 season, in which he went 10-8 with a 4.20 ERA in 32 appearances.
The Wiz can carry four foreign players in their first two seasons, one more than the rest of the league, already filling their quota with pitchers Oxspring, Andy Sisco and Phil Irwin and infielder Andy Marte.■
