• (Report) Dreamworks CEO and Bong Joon Ho Discuss Films At Forum

Not long after renowned Korean filmmaker Bong Joon Ho met with American director Quentin Tarantino at the Busan Film Festival to discuss their films, director Bong was in another public discussion - this time with Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg who's been behind the success of animations such as the Shrek franchise.

Katzenberg was quick to talk about his admiration for director Bong and his strength in storytelling.

Bong Joon Ho also praised Katzenberg good eye for storytelling as seen when he picked up Tarantino? Pulp Fiction before going on to discuss a number of issues including 3D films where they both had interesting things to say

Bong Joon ho's English translation:
"I've had a prejudice against 3D films so have not really liked it thinking whether it's actually cinema and whether it can be the future of film. But having watched recent films Hugo and Life of PI, it's changed my thinking towards this medium."

The discussion lasted an hour and a half and also included a number of questions from the audience, which mainly consisted of student filmmakers.■
