Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon said air ambulances will be introduced to the city.
At a public hearing held at City Hall yesterday, Mayor Park said he will introduce helicopters that specialize in transporting patients with traumatic injuries.
He said two old helicopters belonging to the city's fire department will be replaced in the near future.
Park also mentioned plans of integrating air networks between fire departments, local authorities, and motorways, as well as opening a center for traumatic injuries.■
