Host Profile
Walter A. Foreman comes from the picturesque Canadian city of Saskatoon, but has called South Korea his home since Kim Dae-jung was president and since France hosted the World Cup (that's 1998 for the less historically inclined). He developed his passion for politics, news, and media while running for mayor of Saskatoon at the tender age of 21. Mr. Foreman has earned degrees in the fields of education and professional communication from schools in three different countries–Canada, Australia, and South Korea–and has visited and worked in over a dozen more. Currently, he is the Manager of Communications and Protocol for the Office of International Affairs at Korea University in Seoul. Outside of his work, Walter enjoys writing and has published extensively both in Korea and overseas. He also enjoys volunteering and has given his time to events such as the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan, the 2010 FIA Formula One Korean Grand Prix, the 2010 G20 Seoul Summit, and the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit.
